The course aims to introduce students to the design of VLSI microelectronic circuits, focusing on back-end integrated circuit design using the latest Electronic Design Automation tools. VLSI has emerged as a very important technology in modern electronics featuring deep sub-micron manufacturing processes, low voltage operations, smart programmable devices and exploding speeds sufficient enough to digest ambient conditions to extremes. VLSI under M. Tech aims at exploring areas in system designing including algorithms, system architecture, hardware description languages, physical designing, simulation and synthesis, and verification or testing techniques.
M.Tech Energy Systems & Management is a 2 year course. Energy systems engineering comprises holistic design, analysis and optimization of energy systems, which are composed of different energetic components like power plants and boilers, heat pumps and refrigerators, heat exchangers and accumulators. This program integrates the study of the technology, business and science of energy, focusing on the key areas of evaluating energy systems; energy-related investment decisions; policy development and implementation; and greenhouse gas management issues.
M.Tech Cyber Security is a 2-year full-time postgraduate technology course, aims to train the students in the cyber security and its applications or real-time scenarios. In this course, students will be exposed to simulated real-time scenarios, open-ended problems, and real-world problems with active guidance from the experts in this cyber security field.
