M.Tech VLSI and Embedded Systems [M.Tech VES]

M. Tech in VSLI Design and Embedded system is a 2-year full time postgraduate course focus on the studies of circuits, circuit design, and as the name suggests, very large scale integration circuits. This field of study has emerged from a coalescence of Material Science and Electrical Engineering. The course is structured on the basis of  development of hands on skills as well as of the ability to design systems virtually. The VSLI part of the course will focus on hands on skills related to architecting semiconductor devices and circuits, designing systems with the use of embedded components such as CPU, memory, and peripherals.

About College

Appa Institute Of Engineering And Technology (AIET) is managed by the Sharnbasaveshwar Vidya Vardhak Sangha along with an aim to adopt innovative methods of teaching. It offers Undergraduate program in Engineering in 5 streams and Postgraduate program in 2 streams along with Research program in 5 streams. In AIET, the admissions for Undergraduate program are based upon CET and COMED – K exams and for Postgraduate programs it will be based upon GATE score.

It has Training and Placement cell which provides training to the students so that they can prepare themselves for aptitude tests, interviews and group discussions. It also provides basic and advanced training of soft skills and personality development to the students so that they can easily face the challenges in future.
