MSW in Community Development is a 2 year course. Community development is a planned approach to improving the standard of living and well-being of disadvantaged populations in the United States and internationally. The entry examines linkages between community development and macro practice, including an increase in employment opportunities for social workers. When community development is effective, there is less crime, less disparity between citizens, better jobs available, a more talented workforce, and less overall issues that impact residents. Community development doesn't necessarily solve problems in a city; it reduces problems and increases opportunities for growth.

MSW in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work is a 2 year course. Psychiatric social work is a specialized type of medical social work that involves supporting, providing therapy to, and coordinating the care of people who are severely mentally ill and who require hospitalization or other types of intensive psychiatric help. Social workers in this challenging and demanding field must work closely with individuals suffering from complex and hard to manage conditions that are in deep emotional distress and/or may be a danger to themselves or others. Psychiatric social workers may also encounter difficulties getting clients the resources and support they need to fully address their problems.

MSW in Human Resource Management is a 2 year course. MSW- Human Resource Management & industrial Relations is a new programme that is offered by the Department of Social Work. This programme prepares the students to build careers in the HR departments of industries, hospitals, NGOs and other organizations. Human resources management and industrial relations often represent adversarial positions in a union workplace. Industrial relations a term synonymous with labor relations refers to matters that affect union employees. However, HR management and industrial relations must coexist within the workplace.
