The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is a 4 years undergraduate medical programme. Nursing education is monitored by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), the programme focus on developing critical care, advanced thinking skills, proficiency and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery. The programme prepares students to become responsible citizens by following a code of moral values and conduct at all times while fulfilling personal, social and professional responsibilities. B. Sc. Nursing programme involves classroom study, projects and assignments that enable students to gain practical knowledge of their learning. After the completion of the course, the students compulsorily need to do a six-month internship to experience real-world clinical settings and learn from them.
East Point College and School of Nursing was started in the year 2004, under MG Charitable trust founded by Dr. S.M. Venkat Pathi, offering B.Sc. Nursing. The college is recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, Karnataka State Nursing Council and Affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Karnataka State Diploma in Nursing Education Board.
Over the past few years the health care industry is changing and blooming, this in turn gives a wide range of opportunities to graduate nurses. We train the student nurses to care for the individuals, families and the community at large, equipped with excellent infrastructure including classrooms, laboratories and clinical experience from our 600 bedded Teaching Hospital located within the campus.
East Point Group of Institutions, located in East Bangalore is a premier group offering quality education in varied disciplines of Humanities, Arts, Science, Health Sciences, Pharma Sciences, Medical Sciences and Higher Education. Courses are recognized by Government of Karnataka. Barron land of around 90 acres was transformed into a lush green admirable academic campus within a period of two years. State of the art structures, roads, Electricity connections, water and all other amenities were created afresh. Presently over 7000 students are pursuing their Technical education in various streams of BE, M. Tech. and PhD.
