An emergency department is also known as accident & emergency department (A&E), in which the medical treatment facility specializing in emergency medicine, the acute care of patients who present without prior appointment, either by their own means or by that of an ambulance. The emergency department is usually found in a hospital or other primary care center.

Medical emergencies are increasing in India, every year.So, the necessity of the Accident and Emergency care Technicians are huge, for the health care systems in India.The Accident and Emergency care trained technicians can save many precious lives along with Medical team.

B.Sc. physician Assistant or Bachelor of Science in physician Assistant is an undergraduate medical course. Physician Assistant is a skilled fitness care expert who is qualified with academic and scientific training to provide fitness care services under the supervision of a specialist.

Physician Assistants are formally trained to provide diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive health care services in all the medical specialties, as delegated by a physician. Working as members of a health care team, they collect medical histories, initial examination of the patients, order for laboratory tests and x-rays and assist the doctors for diagnosis and treatment.

The Physician Assistants work in different areas such as outpatient wing, wards and critical care units, operation theaters and other super specialty units like, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Urology, Orthopaedics , Oncology, Endocrinology , Head and Neck and Plastic Surgery, Catheterization labs, Coronary care units, Organ Transplant units and trauma care etc.

B. Sc Critical Care Technology is a 3 year course well in demand course. Services of a critical care technologist are highly desired in every hospital and healthcare unit. Here during this course you'll be learning all about setting up medical equipment and connecting them to patients. Critical care technology focused on making sure the equipment and technology needed to support organ function and maintain life is working and being used correctly, Setting up equipment, connecting patients and monitoring the machinery as it is being used, Carrying out regular maintenance checks of intensive care equipment and bedside, Technical support, Working with other health care professionals during life threatening events.

Critical care technology students handle the equipment such as Blood analysers that measure biochemical factors, Dialysis systems that divert blood through a circuit outside the body, Ventilators that help patients breathe, Haemofiltration and other life support machinery, Defibrillators and monitors that measure vital body functions, such as heart rate and brain activity, Infusion pumps and syringe drivers that deliver drugs to patients.

Radiology and imaging technology is a 3 year undergraduate course that produces clear and accurate images of the body that enable physicians to diagnose and treat medical conditions. Technicians operate sophisticated equipment that include X-ray, CT scan, MRI and mammography. By guiding patients through each step of their medical imaging procedures, these specialists ensure the production of high quality images.

Technicians prepare patients by explaining each step of the medical imaging process. After instructing the patients to remove jewelry, clothing or other items that could interfere with the equipment, they position them correctly and protect them from overexposure, for example by covering parts of the body not being filmed with lead aprons. Occasionally they inject barium- and iodine-based contrast agents to improve image quality. A radiology technician may also be responsible for updating patient records and maintaining the imaging equipment itself.

B.Sc Operation Theatre and Anesthesia Technology is a 3 years undergraduate degree course. Operation Theatre and anaesthesia technician is an allied healthcare worker who assists with the administration and monitoring of anaesthesia and has an extensive knowledge of anaesthesia techniques, instruments, supplies, and technology.

Anaesthetic technicians are involved with all aspects of the delivery of a patient's preoperative (The period, Before, during and after the surgery) anaesthetic care, taking into account the patient’s religious and cultural beliefs and respecting their right to medical privacy and dignity at all times. Anaesthetic Technician also provides a key role in the emergency resuscitation of patients.

B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) is an undergraduate medical Lab technology program. Medical Laboratory technology program also known as medical laboratory science is an allied health profession that is concerned with the remedy, prognosis and prevention of disease through using clinical laboratory tests. During the program these tests help candidates to examine and diagnose, detect and treat illnesses. Moreover the program deals with the collecting of information's sampling, reporting, checking out and documentation.

M.Sc. Clinical Nutrition is designed to enhance knowledge and skills of nutrition and to develop critical evaluation skills through an integration of nutrition, dietetics (therapeutic nutrition) and research.
