Jaya School of Architecture started in the year 2016-2017 at Poonamallee, Chennai to Bangalore Bypass Road, and Thiruvallur District under the auspices of Jaya Educational Trust. The trust renders philanthropic and educational service to linguistic people living in rural areas bordering Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. The main objective of the Trust is to foster quality technical and higher education, research and training in rural areas in various branches of science and technology and simultaneously inculcate among the youth a sense of discipline so that they can be moulded into competent and talented engineers. College offers undergraduate programmes.

Every department has its own well-equipped laboratory. All the modern laboratories provide an outstanding facility for learning engineering skills that are required for engineers of present day. The college provides dormitory housing for students at affordable rates.

Although stress is put on improving the standards of education, yet it is not that the other aspects of campus life are neglected. In fact Jaya School of Architecture tries to inculcate the spirit of involvement with the community at large, serving people and enhancing their educational experience beyond campus, thereby increasing their social consciousness on charitable basis.

The College is located at Poonamallee at a distance of about 10 km from Koyambadu on the Chennai-Bangalore National Highway. It is easily reached from Chennai by bus proceeding to Poonamallee. The College is about 1 kilometer from Poonamallee Bus Stand.
