M.Tech in VSLI Design and Embedded system is a 2-year full time postgraduate course focus on the studies of circuits, circuit design, and as the name suggests, very large scale integration circuits. This field of study has emerged from a coalescence of Material Science and Electrical Engineering. The course is structured on the basis of  development of hands on skills as well as of the ability to design systems virtually. The VSLI part of the course will focus on hands on skills related to architecting semiconductor devices and circuits, designing systems with the use of embedded components such as CPU, memory, and peripherals.

M. Tech Machine Design []

The core strength of the institute is currently in the following core areas: signal/speech /image processing, VLSI and embedded systems, robotics, and communications. Work towards the thesis requires a good understanding the state of art in an area, problem formulation, original contributions based on analysis with sufficient mathematical rigour and validation. Kalpataru Institute of Technology was established in 1986 with a view to provide technical education to the rural youth. The college is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgavi and is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college has an excellent team of qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty members.
