B.Sc Hospitality Science is a 3 year undergraduate Hospitality Management course. Hospitality management is the academic study of the hospitality industry. A degree in Hospitality management is often conferred from either a university college dedicated to the studies of hospitality management or a business school with a department in hospitality management studies. Degrees in hospitality management may also be referred to as hotel management, hotel and tourism management, or hotel administration.
Laxmi Memorial College of Hotel Management was started under Laxmi Memorial Education Trust in 2008. The college was started with an objective of providing the opportunity for students to obtain knowledge in a variety of disciplines related to the hotel industry and to provide an educational foundation for a range of administrative, operational and management careers in the hospitality industry. The college is affiliated to Mangalore University and offering 3 yr BSc.(H.S) programme.
