M.Tech Power Electronics & Power Systems [M.Tech PEPS]

M.Tech. in Power Systems and Power Electronics is a 2-year full time postgraduate course  that concentrates on how to use integrated passive technology and power integrated circuit technology to develop advanced power management converters for handheld, battery powered, or laptop power management applications. The course offers electives for the candidates to improve the knowledge of emerging machines, techniques to optimize the designs and areas of power electronics applications.

Lal Bahadur Shastri College of Engineering, Kasaragod is established in 1993 under the auspicious of L.B.S Centre for Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram

The Centre is administered by a Governing Body and an Executive Committee. The Chief Minister, Government of Kerala is the Chairman of the Governing Body and the Minister for Education is the Vice-Chairman. The Principal Secretary for Higher Education is the Chairman of the Executive Committee and the Director of Technical Education is its Vice-Chairman. The Director of the Centre is the Member Secretary of both the bodies. He is the Executive head of the Centre. There are Joint Directors, Deputy Directors, Assistant Directors, Administrative Officer, Finance Officer and other subordinate staff to help the Director in administration and financial matters.

LBSCEK is a self-financing engineering college kerala govt. taking. The campus is located at Povval, about 12Km away from Kasaragod city.
