The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is a 4 years undergraduate medical programme. Nursing education is monitored by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), the programme focus on developing critical care, advanced thinking skills, proficiency and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery. The programme prepares students to become responsible citizens by following a code of moral values and conduct at all times while fulfilling personal, social and professional responsibilities. B. Sc. Nursing programme involves classroom study, projects and assignments that enable students to gain practical knowledge of their learning. After the completion of the course, the students compulsorily need to do a six-month internship to experience real-world clinical settings and learn from them.
M. Sc Child Health Nursing (Paediatric Nursing) is a 2 year postgraduate course that caters child care needs. M.Sc. in community health Nursing is a 2-year postgraduate path. Malik Deenar Institutions starts in the year 1972, the year in which Malik Deenar Charitable Hospital was inaugurated under the Management of Kasargod Muslim Welfare Association (KMWA). Kasargod Muslim Welfare Association is a registered body under the Societies Registration Act of 1886 (S.No.42 of 1972).
The year in which Malik Deenar Charitable Hospital was inaugurated marked a watershed year for health care in Kasargod. Not only was premium health care available to the citizens but they could also have the advantage of the services of Malik Deenar School of Nursing, started by the group in 1974. This was swiftly followed by Malik Deenar School of Female Health Workers.

From the Academic Year 2010-11, the B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing and M.Sc Nursing Programmes are affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS),Thrissur, Kerala. College is affiliated to the well equipped parent hospital located in the same campus.
