GNM stands for (General Nursing and Midwifery) and focuses on educating nursing students on the topics of general health care and midwifery.
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) is a 4 years undergraduate medical programme. Nursing education is monitored by the Indian Nursing Council (INC), the programme focus on developing critical care, advanced thinking skills, proficiency and values necessary for the practice of professional nursing and midwifery. The programme prepares students to become responsible citizens by following a code of moral values and conduct at all times while fulfilling personal, social and professional responsibilities. B. Sc. Nursing programme involves classroom study, projects and assignments that enable students to gain practical knowledge of their learning. After the completion of the course, the students compulsorily need to do a six-month internship to experience real-world clinical settings and learn from them.
Manonidhi Institute of Nursing was established in 2003. The campus of the College is situated in Double Road, Opposite Government Hospital Chamarajnagar, Karnataka 571313, and India. It is approved by Government of Karnataka. Manonidhi Institute of Nursing & Paramedical Science in Double Road welcomes every student to an atmosphere that is conducive for knowledge enhancement. Other than what is written in the prescribed books, the teachers encourage students to explore more reference material so as to increase their knowledge. Debates are also applauded as it makes way for better learning. The classrooms and other activity spaces are neatly structured and feature the required furniture and other equipment which will help students study well.
