B.E. Mechanical Engineering course introduces fundamental concepts of machine design system and machine operation. In this course, candidates learn the physical properties of motion, force, stress, and principles of equilibrium, elasticity, compatibility and the behavior of machines.

M.Tech in VSLI Design and Embedded system is a 2 year postgraduate course focus on the studies of circuits, circuit design, and as the name suggests, very large scale integration circuits. This field of study has emerged from a coalescence of Material Science and Electrical Engineering. The course is structured on the basis of  development of hands on skills as well as of the ability to design systems virtually. The VSLI part of the course will focus on hands on skills related to architecting semiconductor devices and circuits, designing systems with the use of embedded components such as CPU, memory, and peripherals.

M. Tech Machine Design []

M.Tech in Machine Design is a 2 year post graduate program covering the essential concepts and processes involved in the design and manufacture of machines and machine- related items. The program is an offshoot of Mechanical Engineering, focussing on machine design using analytical, numerical and experimental approachesThe course essentially focuses on areas like Theory of Elasticity and Plasticity, Theory of Plates and Shells, Advanced Vibrations, Finite Element Analysis, Kinematics Design, Tribology and Bearing Design, Fracture Mechanics, Experimental Stress Analysis, etc. enrolled students have the opportunity to work in the areas of design and analysis in association with faculty members on on-going research projects.

Course integrates the study of electrical field combining it with an in-depth research work. Students are introduced to the workings of electricity, electromagnetism, and electronics. Students after gaining a deeper perspective of the subject are made eligible to conduct research work and thereby generate thesis on their topic of interest.
