B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) is an undergraduate medical Lab technology program. Medical Laboratory technology program also known as medical laboratory science is an allied health profession that is concerned with the remedy, prognosis and prevention of disease through using clinical laboratory tests. During the program these tests help candidates to examine and diagnose, detect and treat illnesses. Moreover the program deals with the collecting of information's sampling, reporting, checking out and documentation.
Presentation Centre of Allied Sciences, Affiliated to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur, is owned and managed by Diocese of Kottapuram. The college is situated in the heart of a beautiful village free from all types of pollution, on the eastern side of Puthenvelikara – Mala road. The foundation stone of the college was blessed and laid by the most Rev.Dr.Francis Kallarakkal, former Bishop of Kottapuram. The college started its formal functioning on 2005 under Mahathma Gandhi University, Kottayam and changed its affiliation to Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur on 2010. Presentation Centre of Allied Sciences is a place where all thrive to change the life trajectory for youth growing up in challenging circumstances.
