B.E Mechanical Engineering is a 4-year undergraduate Engineering course, deals with the study of mechanics, kinetics, statistics, material science, thermodynamics, and structural dynamics used in development, designing, production, construction, operation, installation, and maintenance of machines, tools, and various other mechanical equipment. B.E. Mechanical Engineering course introduces fundamental concepts of machine design system and machine operation. In this course, candidates learn the physical properties of motion, force, stress, and principles of equilibrium, elasticity, compatibility and the behavior of machines.

M.E Communication Systems []

M.E Communication Systems may be a two-year postgraduate program. This course concentrates on devices, equipment and technologies that communicate data, voice and multimedia information.

This course has five area of specialization: media studies, government communication, health communication, organizational communication and variety in communication. The program consists of core program devoted to the hardware description languages, design basics of VLSI systems and CAD tools.

The course includes basic topics like modem digital communication techniques, Computer networks, multimedia compression techniques, and computer networks advanced radiation systems etc. Then applicants study microwave integrated circuits, optical fiber communication, satellites communication, cellular mobile communication and other related topics.

ME computer Aided design (ME CAD), is a two years postgraduate computer Engineering degree level course of study in India. It is also referred to as computer Aided design and Drafting (CADD) software.

The aim of the examine program is to prepare candidates who are capable of use an advanced computer system to assist in the creation, modification, evaluation for providing optimization of a design. The study provides skill knowledge and information about the method of creating a technical drawing with the use of computer software such as auto CAD, computer Architectural Drafting in 2d and 3D, applied mathematics, Surveying, Structural design, this all are used to design object for both presentation and actual construction.

M.E EMBEDDED SYSTEM TECHNOLOGIES []

M.E Embedded Systems is a 2 year post graduate course. M.E. Embedded systems course gives a deep insight into the mathematics of the electrical engineering, fundamental and advanced topics in the embedded system, etc. The course affords a platform for the engineers and postgraduates to pay more attention towards research and development in the field of embedded systems.

The curriculum is designed to include the subjects related to the embedded systems area under the broad categories of the hardware and software related to the embedded system technologies. By pursuing M.E. Embedded systems, the skills you have received in a specific field are recognized as pre-standards for this advanced professional degree or in the industry. Your prior knowledge and experience is improved by post graduate studies which focus on your chosen profession.

M.E COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINEERING []

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a 3 year postgraduate course  various aspects of computer applications. The course includes study related to computer languages, application of computer science in IT field, Data Structures, Mathematics involved in computer science, and alike.  MCA curriculum is inclined more towards Application Development and thus it has more emphasis on latest programming languages and tools. MCA course includes various aspects of computational theory, programming, algorithm design and optimization, network and database management, mobile technologies, electronics, mathematics, probability, statistics etc. BCA makes a base while MCA adds a specialized touch within the subjects studied in BCA.

About College

Towards fulfilling the above objectives, the Dharma Naidu Educational & Charitable Trust established the S.A. Engineering College in the year 1998 – '99 in accordance with the general policy of the Govt. of TamilNadu to give high priority to Technical Education. The campus is spread over a vast area of about 42 acres and has 2.25 lakh sq.ft. of constructed area which includes class rooms, drawing halls, laboratories, workshops and associated facilities. In recognition of the quality system of high caliber being implemented for the administration of the institution and achievement of its goals, m/s. TUV NORD have recorded ISO 9001: 2008 certification. The process of obtaining accreditation by NBA, New Delhi is on its way.
