About College

Saveetha Medical College and Hospital is situated in Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu state of India. Established in 2008, it is accredited from Medical Council of India (MCI), AICTE and it is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R.Medical University. SMCH, Kanchipuram offers 49 courses across 4 streams namely Medical, Pharmacy, Science, Paramedical and across 5 degrees like BSc, MD, MS (Surgery), MSc, M.Ed.Hostel facility is not available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as Academic Zone, A/C, AV Lab, Auditorium, ATM, Boys Hostel, Canteen, Computer Lab, Convo. Hall, Counselling are also there. Architecturally built with spacious  roomy interiors  the medical college campus has three blocks with five floors, a total of 4 lecture theatres  with a seating capacity of 200 each and one  auditorium that can seat 350,all of which are equipped with state of the art audio-visual projectors and air conditioning. Demonstration rooms with smart board facility are a part of each department apart from the laboratories and museums which house sophisticated equipments for each discipline.
