M.P.T. Pediatrics or Master of Physiotherapy in Pediatrics is a postgraduate Physiotherapy course. Pediatric Physiotherapy is focused on the development of the health of children in early detection of problems and treatments, especially with concerns such as body postures and main motor skills. Because the body of an adult and that of a kid or adolescent are different, physiotherapy considers the anatomical and physiological differences in treating conditions such as trauma injuries or muscular-skeletal problems. Problems covered in this field also include flat feet, gait problems, torticollis, hypermobility, arthritis, or knee problems in the bone and joint field. M.P.T. Musculoskeletal is a 2 year postgraduate Physiotherapy course. Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy is a specialized area of Physiotherapy treating injuries and conditions which affect the muscles, joints, and soft tissues. The course includes anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, psychology, medical and surgical conditions, biomechanics, kinesiology, disability prevention, rehabilitation and other subjects. Musculoskeletal injuries are injuries to joints, muscles, bones and or nerves.  Common conditions treated are neck and back pain, and shoulder, hip and knee injuries. Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists often use manual therapy treatment techniques such as joint mobilization or manipulation and massage to restore normal function, in conjunction with exercise programs. 

Master of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology (MASLP) []

Bachelor of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology [BASLP]

Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology or BASLP is an undergraduate course of 4 years and 1 year compulsory internship. The course trains students to become audiologists and speech-language pathologists. They learn methods to treat, identify, and prevent hearing disorders in people. The students are also taught about hearing aids and technology.

The BASLP course consists of both theory and practical teachings with Audiology, and Speech-language pathology as primary subjects. In the final year, the students undergo internship and training for the rehabilitation of people who are suffering from speaking.

B.Sc. Cardio Vascular Technology is a 3 year course and 1 year compulsory internship. The cardiovascular technologist is qualified by specific didactic, laboratory, and clinical technological education to perform and/or assist in various invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures. Upon completion of the 3-year course and one-year internship the candidates will evolve into a full trained, qualified cardiovascular technologist capable of working independently. The role of the cardiovascular technologists were to review and/or record patient history, performing appropriate clinical procedures of cardiovascular diagnostic and therapeutic services and also participating in interventional cardiovascular catheterization and/or cardiac electrophysiology procedures. Cardiovascular technologists may provide their services to patients in any medical setting under the supervision of a doctor. The job opportunities for cardiovascular technologist were available in invasive cardiovascular catheterization laboratories, cardiac electrophysiology labs, non-invasive cardiovascular laboratories, including adult and paediatric echocardiography laboratories etc.

Radiotherapy Technology (RTT) is a 3 + 1 year undergraduate Radiography course.  Radiotherapy may be used to treat localized solid tumours, such as cancers of the skin, tongue, larynx, brain, breast, or uterine cervix. It is a therapy using ionizing radiation. It is generally used as part of cancer treatment. In simple terms, the radiation is used to kill or control the growth of malignant cells in a specific part of the body or organ. The radiation alters the DNA structure of the malignant cells. Thus, it kills or restricts the growth of such harmful cells.

B.Sc. Renal Replacement Therapy & Dialysis Technology []

B.Sc. Renal Replacement Therapy & Dialysis Technology is a 3 + 1 year undergraduate degree. The course is designed to prepare students to administer haemodialysis treatments for patients with renal failure, under the supervision of a nurse or physician. Dialysis technicians monitor and operate dialysis machinery, which removes waste and excess fluids from the blood of patients whose kidneys are no longer functioning properly. In addition to preparing patients and monitoring dialysis treatment, dialysis technicians also prepare post treatment reports. They also work on protocols for equipment evaluation and training materials for patients and staff. Dialysis technicians generally work under a physician or nurse's supervision, usually in a hospital, clinic or home-dialysis program.

B.Sc Respiratory Therapy []

Respiratory Therapy is a relatively new branch of Allied Health Sciences and a profession devoted to the scientific application of technology in order to assist in the diagnosis, treatment, management and care of patients with cardiopulmonary and associated diseases. Respiratory therapy curricula typically cover coursework related to the health, function and treatment of the heart and lungs.
