St. Luke’s School and College of Nursing and Smt. Vijaya Luke College of Nursing at Visakhapatnam come as role model where the methods of nursing education remain organized and systematic, taking place in an open and free environment.​ St. Luke’s Minority Educational Society is a non-profitable educational society based at Visakhapatnam. The Luke’s management shows keen interest in supporting its students in placement activities and maintains a life-long commitment in providing them a bright future. The society instills in its students, the desire and dedication to serve the underprivileged lot in every possible way. The society involves its students in national health programmes of the State and Central Government like Pulse Polio, National Leprosy Control and Eradication and AIDS Awareness. The Society undertakes welfare activities for the downtrodden through Vocational. Training, Health Awareness and Nutrition Camps, Mother and Child Health Care, Family Welfare and Medical Camps. By being a nursing institution, the society which is an epitome of excellence, where moral standards of behaviour and conduct are nurtured - the learning becomes a wholesome experience through formal and informal interactive teaching in the classroom, clinical observations and self-learning.
