Vanavarayar Institute of Agriculture (VIA) was founded by Arutchelvar Dr. N. Mahalingam in Manakadavu, near Pollachi, approved by Govt. of Tamil Nadu vide G.O.(MS) No.163 Agriculture (AU) Dept., Dt.31.07.2015. VIA is affiliated to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore. VIA aims at empowering youth as agricultural professionals who can uplift rural development through quality education, profound research and extension activities involving the farming community. We offer two programmes in agriculture; 4-year Bachelor Degree programme and 2-year Diploma programme. The medium of instruction is English.
